"I usually don't leave negative reviews, but this manicure deserves it, unfortunately. I booked a Japanese manicure because I only wanted my natural nails to be shaped and buffed. I've gotten this style of manicure plenty of times in Japan and France, so I was confident that I'd be happy. The session was going normally, until I noticed that the technician began clipping my "cuticles." She said this was normal for how they do Japanese manicures (it's not), but I told her a few times I think she's actually cutting my skin because whatever she was doing hurt. Later that night, some of my fingers were throbbing and in the shower, I noticed that the left middle finger was bleeding from the side. That bleeding stopped after a day, but fingers on the right hand were still throbbing. The following weekend, I noticed that the skin near my nail beds were peeling off, so I sent an email with photos and a description of what was going on. The response was polite, but at the end, I was told to use ointment and "avoid picking at dry skin." I don't know if this person was implying that I caused the skin peeling, but that is not the case. The technician complimented my healthy nails and skin and frankly, this is the first manicure I've gotten that resulted in peeling skin and now, my nails are cracking and breaking off at weird angels, where the technician shaped them. The establishment is clean and it looks like they do a good job with gel, I just would not recommend this place for natural nail manicures at all. I contacted them first and was willing to keep this a private matter, but the flippant response and lack of offering anything to make things right pushed me to publish publicly. I paid $110 total. You be the judge of whether this job was worth it."

"Highly recommended!!! I came in without an appointment (I’m a tourist), and the reception team went above and beyond to fit me in as quickly as possible. They provided all the information I needed and even made sure ahead of time that my nail technician could recreate the design I wanted. I was taken care of by Iva, who is absolutely wonderful! She gently removed my old polish and noticed some issues with my nails. She took the time to explain everything clearly and honestly advised me to avoid gel polish for now, which I really appreciated. Instead, she gave me an incredibly thorough and precise manicure. She was extremely gentle throughout the process and didn’t hurt or nick my skin at all, which is so important to me. All the tools were fully sanitized and everything felt very clean and sterile, which gave me a lot of confidence. Throughout the whole experience, she was kind, attentive, and very professional. I also loved the little touches like offering a hot drink and having a place to hang your coat—it made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment in advance!"
